Public Witness Action for Racial Justice and Healing
An event every month that begins at 4:30 pm on day Third of the month, happening 3 times
These actions serve as a silent witness (holding signs) to support equal justice for all. The Chestnut Street neighborhood is also cordially invited to join in and stand with members from UUCL and other Lancaster faith communities. Social distancing will be maintained and mask wearing is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a sign expressing a call for racial justice and healing or social change.
Public witness will take place on the sidewalk before the doors of UUCL. This action will happen on the third Friday of August, September, and October. The dates and times are as follows: Friday, August 21, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, September 25, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, October 16, 4:30-7:30 p.m.
