Sunday Worship Service with Guest Speaker Omar Mohamed

Sunday May 23rd, local author and activist Omar Mohamed will be joining us for a special service.

How many of us have had our whole worlds changed by another person’s story? In collaboration with UU Berks and our Growing Anti-Racist UUs families, we will open up our spiritual toolboxes to explore how stories and paying close attention can help us live lives of empathy, meaning, and justice. Local author and activist Omar Mohamed, who has woven his own life story into a National Book Award finalist graphic novel, will join us. Stay after for a special Q&A with Omar Mohamed.
