Carole Campbell – Board Of Trustees
I’m Carole Campbell, serving the first year of my second three year term on the Board. Two years ago, I served as president of the Board. I am a Lancaster native and have lived in Lancaster most of my life. I worked for the School District of Lancaster as a third grade teacher, a school counselor and a school psychologist for the last twenty years before my retirement.. One son and family live here and my younger son and family live in Portland, Oregon. I was very active in the Annapolis UU church for four years when I lived there. I rejoined UUCL when I returned to Lancaster in 2006. I have been a co-leader of a Soul Matters group for about seven years. I am co-chair of the church Caring Team. I am the Board Liaison for Leaders Circle. and I have also worked for the Pledge Committee for several years. It is a privilege for me to work with this Board of highly intelligent, caring, cooperative members. As you might guess, I cherish UUCL and its members. Beyond church, I am an avid golfer and competitive bridge player. I have been a sixteen year member of Lancaster County CISM team. Our team works with the mental health of first responders. I am looking forward to the opening of a new church year with our new minister.
