Meet Our Ministry and Staff
Rev. Patricia Guthmann Haresch
UUCL Minister
The Reverend Pat(ricia) Guthmann Haresch is a lifelong UU who earned her B.A. in Theology from Carleton College in Minnesota and her MDiv from Andover Newton Theological School outside of Boston (now Andover Newton Seminary at Yale Divinity). She has served UU congregations as minister in New Hampshire, the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and Ottawa, as well as a Lifespan Religious Education consultant in Virginia. While her husband was a diplomat with the U.S. State Department, she and her family lived abroad in the Philippines, where she volunteered and provided consulting with UUs there, and in Bogota, Colombia between her ministries. She and her family currently live in rural Montgomery County in Maryland. She has committed to being with us in Lancaster on Sundays and perhaps some extended weekends or other important occasions and works remotely otherwise. Rev. Pat may be reached using the minister@uuclonline.org email, Slack or by leaving a voice message on the UUCL office phone.
Rev. Pat works remotely Mondays – Fridays 9:00am to 4:00pm. Rev. Pat will be live and in person most Sundays.
Elizabeth Gawron
Director of Lifespan Religious Education
Elizabeth Gawron describes herself as an artist-teacher-mother. She resides in Elizabethtown, PA with her art teacher husband, Luke, and two young children, Kazmir and Nyla.
While pursuing art in the church, Elizabeth never lost her love for teaching. She found opportunities to teach in Montessori schools where she learned the spiritual nature of child development and education. She has taught in toddler and primary Montessori programs and holds a certificate in the Fundamentals of Montessori In Early Childhood Education. She is starting her own homeschool journey with her children that is inspired by Montessori, Waldorf, and Unschooling concepts.
Elizabeth is looking forward to joining us! She was born into the Christian tradition but over the years her spiritual views have evolved to encompass the variety of spiritual journeys we all take to Unity and Peace. She is excited to gain wisdom, understanding and inspiration from UUCL.

Kelsey Holl
Congregational Administrator
Kelsey Holl joined the team in April 2021 as our Office Coordinator. In October of 2021, she took on UUCL’s bookkeeping tasks and became our Congregational Administrator.
Kelsey moved to Lancaster County in 2020 from the West Chester, PA area. She lives in New Holland with her dog, cat, and partner. Kelsey loves animals, people, and the community most of all. She spends her free time doing service work in the community when she’s not exploring the great outdoors or adventuring to new places.

Eli Sauls
Music and Technical Arts Director
Eli Sauls is a proud graduate of Mansfield University where he carries his B.A. in Liberal Studies and his minor in Music. He is also a brother of the Beta Omicron chapter of Phi Mu Alpha.
Throughout his time at Mansfield, Eli has had the opportunity to dabble in various aspects of music including: musical theater, vocal jazz, opera, choral directing, and teaching individual voice lessons. Some of his favorite roles in theater include: Jesus (Godspell), Japheth (Children of Eden), Jack (Into the Woods), and Leaf Coneybear (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). Some of his more notable experiences include participating in master classes with Rob Fisher, performing in Candide featuring John Lithgow during Leonard Bernstein’s centennial celebration at Carnegie Hall, as well as working with Actor’s Equity members including Dan Sharkey in a run of Bridges of Madison County.
Eli is also a semi-recent addition to the Lancaster Symphony Choir. Every First Friday in Lancaster, you can find Eli singing at the Saint James Episcopal Church on Duke Street under the direction of Dr. William Wright.
During his free time, Eli enjoys staying social online through gaming, going for the occasional jog outside, and continuing to expand upon his eagerness to learn. New to the church, Eli is excited to offer his abilities to both enhance worship and strengthen his skills as both choral director and musician.
Eli’s office hours are 10am-2pm, Monday-Thursday at the church. Additional meetings times via appointment.
