Apple Picking Meet-up

The Jewish Exploration Group and Lifespan Faith Development at UUCL are hosting a meet-up at Cherry Hill Orchards to go apple picking on Saturday, September 16^th at 11:00 A.M. Please save the date. This all ages event is a way to celebrate the fall season and Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. For Rosh Hashanah, it is tradition to ring in a sweet new year with apples and honey. Before apple picking, a picture book will be read about Rosh Hashanah.

This event is free and open to all, but we welcome donations of $5 to chip in towards the group’s apple box purchases. For planning purposes, please RSVP below by Thursday, September 14^th. (Drop-ins are also welcome, but RSVPs will help us contact you in case of inclement weather. Also an email outlining the meet-up will go out to all signed-up participants prior to the trip.)
