“On Gathering a UUCL Justice Council” Workshop with Rev. Matt Lenahan
Workshop: On Gathering a UUCL Justice Council
In Emerson or Founder’s Hall and on Zoom (Bring Your Own Lunch/Snack)
With Reverend. Matt Lenahan of Power Interfaith and Reverend Patricia Guthmann Haresch
What is burning in your heart that you want to act on to make things better in the world – – Prison Reform, Green Sanctuary, Reproductive Rights, LGBTQ+ Rights, Poverty, Racial Justice & Healing, something else? Whatever it is, how might we work together and support each other at UUCL and network with others locally and in Pennsylvania to help make a difference. Rev. Pat with guest speaker, Rev. Matt Lenahan from Power Interfaith will provide a workshop to help lead us towards gathering an ongoing UUCL Justice Council. Rev. Lenahan is the Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, a welcoming church in Akron. He is also the local congregational organizer for the statewide interfaith and multiracial Power Interfaith working for racial and economic justice. Matt also serves on the board of Hunger Free Lancaster County and project manages the Wittel Farm Growing Project. He has passion for advocacy, social/economic justice and food.
