Sunday Worship Service: House of Hope
We, all of us, build houses for our dreams.
The masonry and lumber, glass and tiles,
A solid form, wherein we see our hopes,
A shelter and protection for our growth. – Rev. Dori Somers
This morning’s message from Rev. Pat is based on the ideas that went in the development of the book, “A House of Hope,” by the same name by former Unitarian Universalist Association President, the Rev. John Buerhens and former President of the UU Starr King School of Ministry, the Rev. Dr. Rebecca Parker.
May our UUCL “House of Hope” be as further described by Rev. Somers, “. . .a dwelling place for courage, for integrity, for love. Engendered, nourished by a familythat speaks of “we” and means all humankind.”
Every Sunday, join Sunday Worship Service at 10AM (9:45 gathering), currently offered in person and on Zoom.
