Sunday Worship Service: Earth Day “The Case of Mother Earth vs. World’s People”

April 16, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Hybrid Hybrid Event
Every Sunday, join Sunday Worship Service at 10AM (9:45 gathering), currently offered in person and on Zoom/Youtube Live.
April 22 will be International Earth Day. Peace activist John McConnell proposed such a day at a UNESCO conference in 1969. The next year the United Nations and United States proclaimed April 22 as Earth Day in support of environmental protection and it has been commemorated around the world ever since.UUCL will mark the upcoming Earth Day by giving Mother Earth a voice in The Case of Mother Earth vs. World’s People, A Trial by Jury, The International Court of Last Resort, a skit adapted by Rev. Pat from the author Doug Stewart.
We are still looking for people willing to take a part in the performance. Unfortunately, we don’t have parts for pre-readers, but we are looking for readers interested in taking a role in this Readers’ Theatre style (no memorization, no rehearsal) skit. If you are interested, please contact Rev. Pat at before Sunday.
