Sunday Worship Service: Lessons from the UUs of the Philippines

Rev. Pat’s family was once a State Department family, fortunate enough to be posted in the countries of the Philippines, Colombia, and Canada. The Universalist Church of the Philippines (UCP) was officially recognized by the Universalist Church of America in December, 1954. In 1985, UCP became the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Philippines (UUCP) and was accepted into UUA membership three years later. There are over 20+ UUCP congregations in the Philippines, mostly on the island of Negros. Rev. Pat will explain the evolution of the UUCP congregations and share some of her own observations and precious experiences.
