April 7 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Hybrid Event
This Sunday learn about Theodore Parker one of the historical figures named in our stained glass windows in the Sanctuary. Parker was considered one of the most influential Unitarian theologians in the 19th Century, but even the Unitarians shunned Parker for his controversial theology. He was an abolitionist, mentioned in the book, “Master, Slave, Husband, Wife,” whose author will be speaking at the Ware Center on April 30. He was quoted by none other than Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr.
