August 23: “Stories of Resilience” – Lenore Bajare-Dukes & the River Crossing Playback Theatre Troupe

River Crossing Playback Theater is a Playback troupe in the Susquehanna Valley that uses improvisational theater to help people tell and hear their stories. This will be the troupe’s third service at UUCL, offering a forum that honors the many stories and truths gathered in this congregation. In Playback Theater, someone in the audience tells a moment or story from their life and then watches the enactment as the story “comes to life” with artistic shape and nuance. Our theme is “Resilience“: stories of carrying on–lifting up–moving through–coming together–and more. Come ready to listen, witness, and perhaps even to share.

UUCL Director of Lifespan Faith Development Lenore Bajare-Dukes joins other troupe members from Lancaster, Harrisburg, Baltimore and York by Zoom to listen to and honor your stories.
