Workshop and Congregational Discussion On Safety & Security

Sunday, March 5, 11:30am (in person and on Zoom) As a follow up to last Fall’s Congregational Meeting, the Board has invited The Reverend Sunshine Wolfe, Congregational Life Staff at the UUA’s Central East Region, to guide and support a conversation about the safety and security of our congregation. Rev. Wolfe will share some of the learnings they have gained in supporting numerous congregations dealing with threats and hostility. However, the primary objective will be for those present in person or on Zoom to have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings and listen to others. Rev. Wolfe comes to us with experience in communal responses to trauma and as a member of the Safer Congregations Team for the Central East Region. They also will be our guest speaker for the morning’s Sunday Service.
