Want to get involved with UUCL but don’t know where to start?

Want to get involved with UUCL but don’t know where to start? The best way to find out more about our church and Unitarian Universalism is to get involved in some of the many activities, committees, groups and educational programs that are available.

Committees

Committees are an important part of the life of the church and one of the main vehicles for living out our mission and goals.

Lifespan Faith Development

UUCL supports spiritual growth under the umbrella of our Lifespan Faith Development program. This includes adult faith development, multigenerational, and children and youth faith development opportunities. UUCL is also proud to offer the Lancaster Cooperative Preschool, a unique non-denominational preschool program founded by UUCL parents.

A cornerstone of faith development at UUCL is Soul Matters.

Every month, the whole church explores a different theme – in worship services for all ages, in faith development for children and youth, and in small groups that meet to explore spirituality.

At a time of pandemic, physical distancing does not have to mean social distancing–or spiritual distancing! In joining a Soul Matters group, you gather each month with the same group of 8-10 people to explore spirituality together. Every month, you will receive a packet of spiritual exercises, readings, videos, music, and deep questions, which you can explore on your own and then discuss in your group through facilitated interaction.
