November 17, 2019: Beyond Categorical Thinking
Sunday, November 17 10:00AM Rev. Keith Kron
What a T-Rex named Penelope, Pittsburgh, and a theologian Can teach us about The Future of Religion and our commitment to Equity and Justice. Religion, including Unitarian Universalism is at a moment in time. Can it survive? And what must it do in order to survive? What must we do? We’ll explore our place in today’s world, and why it’s metaphorical meteorites and not a comet that could wipe us out.
Rev. Keith Kron is Director of the national Transition Office of the Unitarian Universalist Association. After the service he will lead Beyond Categorical Thinking, a workshop to discern implicit biases in how we receive others.
