Rev. Howard Dana
Rev. Howard Dana
UUCL Minister
Rev. Howard N. Dana began as minister at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster, Pennsylvania in August 2024. Previously Howard had been the Senior Minister at First Parish in Concord, Massachusetts (Unitarian Universalist) for nine years. In his time with First Parish the congregation saw its commitment to Religious Education and Social Justice grow. It also increased its budget and cared for its historic property. Prior to his settlement in Concord, Howard was minister at the Unitarian Church of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for 13 years.
Originally from a family-run cattle ranch in Montana, Howard found his way to Unitarian Universalism after college when he moved to Portland, Oregon. His experience at First Unitarian Church of Portland rekindled a long-felt call to ministry, sending him to seminary at Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, California, in 1995.
In his off hours, Howard likes to kayak, contra dance, bike, travel, garden, and cook. He recently bought a cabin in the woods and is busy fixing it up.
Rev. Dana is on Site – Wednesdays and Thursdays 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Rev. Dana will be live and in person most Sundays.
