Update from the Board of Trustees- Revised 9/30/21

From our Board:

The Board held another meeting on September 22 to continue the agenda begun a week earlier. The major discussion was about policies and procedures around church programming and events while we try to live well with COVID. Our approach to this topic will be laid out in a separate letter to the congregation in the next few days.

The Board and our staff, along with many others from our congregation are working hard to create programming to keep us nourished spiritually, connected in love and acting for justice in ways that are safe in the face of increasingly distressing trends in this COVID pandemic. And we are working hard to find ways to enhance the infrastructure of the physical plant itself to best ensure our safe return to using the building when it is deemed safe to do so.

We have also set dates for an informal Town Hall meeting – Sunday, October 10 on Zoom after the service – and our Fall Congregational Meeting, also on Zoom after worship on October 24^th. Please save these dates for events that are important to the life of our covenanted community.
