Walters Grants: Call to Action
Art Walters was a member of UUCL who believed that all people were equal: all races, genders, religions, sexual identities, and nationalities. Art’s wishes of leaving money to the UUCL to furthering the beliefs of Unitarian Universalism were achieved in 2002 with the establishment of the Art Walters Trust.
Funds from this trust are available to support the mission of UUCL: Nourish; Connect; Act. Do you have an idea of how to promote UU principles in the Lancaster County community? Consider applying for a grant this fall. The grant application can be found here.
Walters Grant committee members are available to help you with the development of your grant. This grant is available to those within the Church and to the greater community.
Consider applying for a Walters Grant for a great opportunity to get involved and make a difference in the Lancaster County community.
