Action Planning Committee: Introduction

Introducing the Action Planning Task Force

To assist the Board of Trustees in addressing its goals for 2022-2023 and beyond, an Action Planning Task Force was established in December. Members include Marianne Smith (Chair), Linda Kinney, Graham Capobianco, Paula Jackson, and Lenore Bejare-Dukes, along with a Board representative and Rev. Pat. The charge of this Task Force is to develop a short-term (by the end of this church year) and longer-term plan for specific objectives and actions that should be accomplished to fulfill the 2022-23 Board Goals of growth in membership (Goal #2) and volunteerism (first part of Goal #3). The goals are as follows:

2. Growing our membership in the following ways: being as inclusive as possible; encouraging greater family participation; and raising UUCL’s profile in the community.
3. Leadership development and volunteer recruitment to better sustain our programs.

A recommended action plan is expected by the end of February and will be shared eventually with the congregation. If you would like to have input into the Task Force’s deliberations, please email them at aptf@uuclonline.org.
