Profile: Steve Jones – Board of Trustees

I found a new spiritual home and became a member of UUCL in 2016 shortly after retiring from the Lutheran ministry, the vast majority of which was in chaplaincy, the last 25 at the Southeast Pennsylvania Veteran’s Center in Spring City. Since becoming a member I’ve served as a Worship Associate and a member of the Search Committee that brought Rev.Israel Buffardi to UUCL. I’ve been a Soul Matters participant, am currently an active member of the Open Table and serve on the visitation subcommittee of the Caring Team. My wife Linda and I have lived in Landisville since 1987. I enjoy spending time with our daughter’s family in New Hope, Bucks County, reading, walking the Lancaster County rail trails, rooting for Philadelphia sports teams, and hanging out with our cats Cosmo and General Grant.
