Results of our 2021 Annual Spring Congregational Meeting
Thank you to all of our members who came out to our Annual Spring Congregational Meeting on 5/16/2021. We were able to pass many orders of business.
- We approved the operating budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. See the budget below.
- We voted to approve the new mission statement, which is as follows: Come. Nourish the spirit; connect in love; act for justice. This proposed mission statement includes changes that reflect the feedback we have received from members over the last several months. For any questions, please contact Rev. Israel.
- We voted to adopt the 8th Principle in our congregation. The resolution recommits us to justice, equity, and compassion in our relationships – and in addition clearly states our desire to work against racism and other oppressions. The 8th Principle: We covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
- We voted to add two new Trustees to our Board: congratulations to Kim Chappell and Chris Steinbrecher!
