Results of our 2021 Annual Spring Congregational Meeting

Thank you to all of our members who came out to our Annual Spring Congregational Meeting on 5/16/2021. We were able to pass many orders of business.

  1. We approved the operating budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. See the budget below.
  2. We voted to approve the new mission statement, which is as follows: Come. Nourish the spirit; connect in love; act for justice. This proposed mission statement includes changes that reflect the feedback we have received from members over the last several months. For any questions, please contact Rev. Israel.
  3. We voted to adopt the 8th Principle in our congregation. The resolution recommits us to justice, equity, and compassion in our relationships – and in addition clearly states our desire to work against racism and other oppressions. The 8th Principle: We covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
  4. We voted to add two new Trustees to our Board: congratulations to Kim Chappell and Chris Steinbrecher!
