UU Artist and Friends Art Show Planning Team

Wouldn’t it be fun to have a one-time project to celebrate returning to our Church and the creative talents of UU artists this fall? The answer is yes, so let’s have an Art Show.

Requirements:

Participants must be willing to attend one organizational Zoom meeting in June and volunteer in some capacity: advertising, sales, hanging the items.

Artwork must be original and able to be hung: watercolor, pastel, photography, cross stitch, a framed poem are some examples of things to be considered.

If we can get 12 artists to participate, it’s a go.

Non-artists are welcome to help.

Among our own;

Evanna Morris won first prize in the Professional Category at Lancaster County Art Association. Her painting will be on display this month.

Lou Ann Miller is the May guest artist at the Slate Cafe, 43 E. Main St. Lititz. All proceeds from the art sale, plus a percentage of food sold, go to the World Central Kitchen to provide hot meals in Ukranian cities.
