Fourth Sunday – Creativity Matters
Sindy PollardWe are so excited to announce the launch of Creativity Matters at UUCL! Creativity Matters is a Soul Matters add-on program that engages in monthly themes and explores spiritual growth through creative expression. It’s all about allowing our intuition and imagination to guide us, not just our logic and reflective minds. Think of it as making room for your right brain to dance with your left brain! This program is designed for EVERYONE – no artistic experience or skill required; Just bring a playful and adventurous attitude!
The Creativity Matters theme is the exact same monthly theme as the Soul Matters program; the only difference is the activity options attached to the theme. Prior to our meeting, work on a creative exercise of your choosing from the packet which contains inspirational material and reflection questions to get your creative juices flowing. Project options/mediums include: journaling, creative writing, collage, storytelling, scrapbooking, poetry, sketching, photography, watercolor painting, fabric arts, movement, music; options are only limited to your imagination! Another strongly encouraged component is the use of a creative journal. Each monthly packet contains journaling prompts and suggestions for capturing stories, images, ideas and feelings that come up.
This will be an Open-To-All group. The schedule will be every 4th Sunday from 6:30-8pm on Zoom.
