COMMUNITY MAKERSPACE COMING SUMMER 2024
Join us this summer for a drop-in CommUNITY Makerspace at UUCL! A space for caregivers and children to create community. In the Makerspace, we will learn about Unitarian Universalist values through making, music, movement and story. Caregivers stay on campus with access to our wifi, lounge area and meditation garden.

We are looking for Makerspace guides to help in the art studio, CommUNITY greeters to welcome people and Lunch Bunch helpers in our Chalice Garden. Contact Elizabeth Gawron at faithdev@uuclonline.org for more information.

Join us this summer for a drop-in CommUNITY Makerspace at UUCL! Designed for grades K5 through 8th, this program offers programming every Tuesday and Friday from 12 to 3 pm starting Tuesday 6/4/24. Come at 12 pm for an optional “Lunch Bunch” in the Chalice Garden, weather permitting, or between 1 and 3 pm for guided process artmaking and open-ended play in our new Makerspace.

Caregivers must stay on the UUCL campus, but are welcome to use our free Wi-Fi, co-work in our library, socialize in our comfortable coffee house in Emerson, or use our 2nd floor kitchenette. Other spaces are also available for remote meetings or phone calls. Our playroom is available for you to play with your younger children (0-4 years old) while older children are in the Makerspace.$10 per child per day; pre-registration required but payment accepted day-of.
Max 20 participants per day, so reserve your spot ASAP!
Schedule follows School District of Lancaster last/first day of school.
