~*~* THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE AT UUCL! *~*~ Here are some things you can expect, with more to be added as the month goes on! Crafting & Baking Nights Friday, December 11th, 8-9PM (& more?) A low-key night of baking and crafting and chatting, all on Zoom. All who love to make things while hanging out, bring something you want to work on! Dec. 11th will be hosted by Lenore. We hope to have others. Fill out this form if you’d like to take a turn hosting or have another holiday offering! Songs and Stories of the Season – All Ages! Friday, December 18th, 6:30-8PM Gather at the hearth (…and on Zoom…) to listen and sing along to Christmas, Hanukkah, and winter songs. Hear a holiday story or two, and wrap your hands ‘round a mug of hot chocolate! Contact the Music Committee or Lifespan Faith Development if you have a song you’d like to share. Making the Holidays Meaningful How do we make the holidays meaningful during a time of pandemic? How do we connect with loved ones and ourselves? We may offer a faith development workshop on detaching from materialism, discerning what matters most to you, and finding ways to honor old traditions…or creating new ones. Please fill out this form to help us know what to plan. Spirituality: We have a full worship calendar this December honoring multiple spiritual traditions. Stay updated through the LOVEletter! Do you have a holiday event you would like to share? Send it to Mandee at communications@uuclonline.org for our next newsletter! |
